Operator and agreement

Oriolo is operated by MIMIRS NEXUS DEVELOPMENT SRL, with the company and contact information in the Legal notice. These terms apply when you browse oriolo.app, create an account, post content, or use Premium. By creating an account you agree to these terms and acknowledge the Privacy notice. If you do not agree, do not create or continue using an account.

You must be at least 16. If you use Oriolo for an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind it. Mandatory rights available to consumers are not excluded or reduced by these terms.

Your account

Provide accurate information, keep sign-in credentials confidential, and tell us promptly about suspected unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity under your account unless it results from our failure to use reasonable security. Accounts are personal and may not be sold or transferred without our written agreement.

Your content

What you post stays yours. You grant MIMIRS NEXUS DEVELOPMENT SRL a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, format, display, and distribute that content only as needed to operate, secure, promote, and improve Oriolo. The licence ends when the content is deleted, except for restricted backups, content already shared outside our control, and copies legally required for moderation, evidence, or claims.

You confirm that you have the necessary rights and permissions, including from identifiable people in an upload. Only upload lawful content. Public posts are visible to anyone and may be indexed or reshared; private collection fields remain private unless you deliberately create a share link or post them.

Acceptable use

You must not use Oriolo to:

  • post illegal content or content that infringes copyright, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
  • harass, threaten, exploit, discriminate against, impersonate, or expose personal information about others;
  • send spam, manipulate votes or rankings, create deceptive accounts, or misrepresent commercial content;
  • introduce malware, scrape at a harmful rate, bypass access controls, probe vulnerabilities without permission, or disrupt the service;
  • submit knowingly false reports, abuse appeals, or repeatedly provide manifestly illegal content.

Content moderation and illegal-content notices

We may leave content in place, reduce its visibility, hold it for review, remove it, disable a share link, restrict a feature, or suspend or terminate an account when reasonably necessary to enforce these terms, comply with law, protect people, or secure Oriolo. We consider the content, context, severity, frequency, intent, and impact. Automated technical signals may detect spam, unsafe uploads, or unusual activity and assist triage; reported-content outcomes can be reviewed by a person.

Anyone may use the report control next to community content or email contact@oriolo.app. An illegal-content notice should identify the exact URL or content, explain the legal reason, provide supporting information, include the notifier’s name and email unless a legal exception applies, and state in good faith that the notice is accurate and complete. We acknowledge electronic notices and communicate the outcome where possible.

Where we restrict content or an account, we provide a clear reason to the affected user when we have contact details and law permits, including the rule or legal ground, relevant facts, scope and duration, and whether automation materially contributed. Appeal by emailing the same address with the decision, account, content URL, and reasons. A person not involved in the original decision will review the appeal where practicable. Repeated manifest abuse may lead to proportionate restrictions after warning.

Ordering and recommendations

Different Oriolo surfaces are ordered by the filters you choose, catalog relevance, recency, editorial selection, or aggregate community signals such as ratings, votes, comments, and activity. Safety and quality checks may remove ineligible items. Oriolo does not use cross-site tracking or sensitive data to personalise rankings. Paid, sponsored, or affiliate destinations are labelled and do not purchase community ranking.

Watch data and external links

Catalog specifications, estimates, editorial material, and community statements are informational and may be incomplete or wrong. They are not authentication, valuation, investment, tax, or professional advice. Wrist-shot recognition is likewise a visual estimate, not authentication: similar references may be indistinguishable without serial, caseback, movement, or provenance evidence. Verify a watch and transaction independently before spending money. Oriolo does not control external marketplaces and is not a party to purchases made there unless expressly stated otherwise.

Premium subscriptions, billing, and withdrawal

Oriolo Premium is an optional monthly or annual subscription at the price shown before checkout. It renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel through the billing portal in your account. Cancellation stops future renewal; access normally continues through the paid period. Failed payment may result in a grace period and then loss of Premium access.

Consumer-facing prices include applicable VAT. Stripe Managed Payments acts as merchant of record and handles payments, indirect tax, invoices, payment-method changes, fraud, disputes, refunds required by law or policy, and transaction support. Oriolo provides the Premium functionality and product support. We do not receive or store full card details.

Consumers normally have a statutory 14-day withdrawal period for distance service contracts, subject to the rules and exceptions for immediate performance and digital services. Transaction-specific withdrawal instructions are supplied through checkout or the purchase confirmation. Contact Stripe transaction support or contact@oriolo.app. If you ask for performance to begin during the withdrawal period, the consequences required by applicable law may apply. Nothing here limits a statutory refund, conformity remedy, or other mandatory consumer right.

Except where law or Stripe’s merchant-of-record policies require otherwise, a consumed or already-started billing period is not partially refunded. A time-limited promotion applies only for the duration shown before checkout and then renews at the standard price disclosed there. Cancelling and later resubscribing, or changing billing interval, uses the price and promotion eligibility available at that time.

Availability and changes

We aim to operate Oriolo reliably but do not promise uninterrupted availability. We may maintain, secure, change, or retire features. For a material change that adversely affects a paid service, we will provide reasonable notice where practicable and preserve mandatory cancellation or consumer remedies.

We may update these terms for legal, security, technical, or service reasons. The updated date appears below. Material changes affecting registered users will receive reasonable notice; continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.

Suspension, termination, and deletion

You may stop using Oriolo and request account deletion at any time. We may proportionately suspend or terminate access for a serious or repeated breach, legal requirement, security risk, or harm to others. Where appropriate, we give warning and a chance to remedy or appeal. Immediate action may be necessary for urgent safety, illegality, fraud, or security reasons.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Oriolo is supplied without promises beyond these terms and any mandatory legal guarantees. We are not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate community/catalog information, third-party services, or events outside reasonable control. Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence where applicable, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or mandatory consumer rights.

Law, disputes, and contact

Romanian law governs these terms without depriving an EEA consumer of mandatory protections from the law of their habitual residence. Romanian courts have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer venue rules. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a complaint; consumers may also use the competent consumer-protection authority or an applicable alternative-dispute-resolution body.
